Flame thrower in tank does not cause forest fire

Using the flame thrower of the tank does not cause forest fire, while the hand held one, does.

The animation of the tank flamer looks like it just flattens trees, not burns or damages them.

fun fact, water from lakes can have a flame puddle and even kill fish.

maybe the tank flamer could make flame puddles too?

I find this to very sad. I would have liked to cause forest fires by being reckless with the Tank Flamethrower or do it on purpose as a strat. Instead of getting out, being vulnerable, & doing it by hand.

Btw, The Flamethrower Turret does cause forest fires.

Also I which forest fires would go on for ever. I don't like needing to got to he edge of the burned forest to relight it so it keeps burning. Although I understand this for UPS reasons but I still which I could turn it off.
