[Rseding91] [2.0.11] Crash deleting highlighted search tag sharing name with other results (CustomChartTag::prepare)

Post by robciog »

[Precondition]
* Factorio version: 2.0.11
* Only space age addons installed, no other addons

[Actions for my save]
*load save
*Open Map
*Select planet Nauvis on the left panel
*Initialize map search by pressing CTRL+F
*type "tank"
*multiple results appear:
  1. 1x [item=storage-tank]Storage tank
  2. 1x [item=tank] Tank
  3. [item=tank]Tank[item=tank]
*click (highlight) "[item=tank]Tank[item=tank]" result, so that your position is moved to the tag on the map
*click the tag on the map to enable edit
*click the delete (bin) button to delete the tag while it is still being highlighted and Storage tank is still in the search results
*game crashes

With some more testing, it seems that deleting tag that share a name with other search results (that is generated result from factory production ex. "pipe") when having assembler producing pipes and having "pipe" custom tag. Both strings need to be visible in search results, and the custom tag needs to be highlighted when deleting the custom tag.
Custom tag don't need to have a name, an icon (ex. [item=storage-tank]) is enough if its name shares a string in the search result ("tank")

Thanks for the report and the details steps to reproduce it. It seems I didn't reproduce it correctly with the other report. This time it's now fixed for the next release.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
