I propose adding a feature in the Train Overview -> Train stops tab that allows us to edit the name and color of all train stations with a specific name in one go. Currently, renaming multiple stations (e.g., updating all “Iron Unload” stations to “Iron Depot”) is tedious, as each one needs to be modified individually. Adding batch-edit options would make it quicker and more consistent.Additionally, I suggest introducing a grouping system for train stations, similar to train grouping. With this, players could create groups for stations that share a theme or function (e.g., “Iron Depots” or “Copper Pickup”) and manage names and colors for all stations in the group. This would be especially useful for organizing large networks by allowing grouped changes, rather than individual adjustments, to station settings like color and name.
Why?
This system would make large rail networks much easier to manage by streamlining the organization of stations. With batch edits and groups, players could maintain uniform naming conventions and color schemes with a few clicks, ensuring visual and functional consistency across all related stations. These tools would be a big quality-of-life improvement, especially for players with extensive train networks. (And it is so goood to watch trains changing color in accordance with their destination
