What?
The themes fit, it would be some kind of quantum super computer, which is known to require near zero temp cooling, and the aquila is also the source of super high tech. Maybe instead of replacement of current bio tech lab, it could be third tier, which would require cooling liquid to work.


Why?
Bio technology seems like out of place for laboratory. And gleba in not the planet where one would expect super laboratory. Instead, the lab should come from aquila.

Instead, gleba feels like the perfect place for tech dealing with enemies by manipulating their impulses, like capturing nests like it currently is, but also biter repellent, air filtering, or similar. As ultimate gleba tech, it could be powerful, basically removing biter threat altogether. This sounds op, but at this stage it practically is only detail to protect your base, so there would not be much difference, only convenience, and you would still need to expand using force.
