Its not as complex as SE, but its the same to me.
I dont like space travel. I dont like to design my own "Space Locomotive+Cargo wagon" only for interplanetary logistics.
I dont even like multiple surfaces, but i could deal with that, as long as the planets are cool.
So far i rerolled a save twice, because i HATE the space part. I lost both ships which i have put hours of headache in, because, to me(!) its stupid game design.
I dont wanna put this in the general discussion forums, because i dont want people to convice me SA is great, nor do i want to sound like its bad, when i barely have scratched the surface.
The problem with "gameplay help" forum is, i dont want people to grab my hand guide me through the part i hate either.
What i can tell for sure is that i wont ever enjoy the "design your rocket" part, so i wont see the other plantes without cheats or mods.
Its not even that im disappointed. I knew it the last months, reading FFFs, thinking about how the game might be.
I wanna see the other planets.
Spaceship design can **** ** ****!
I wanna build a factory!
Any mods that shoot rockets across the sun system, planet to planet?
Cheat commands?
I´d be ok with "zero-fuel rockets" and "no asteroids" if that means i still need to come up with spaceship schedules
Worst case i just start a new 2.0 factory with quality and rail bridges, but it´d suck to miss out on the planets
F-SA without Space. What are my options?
Re: F-SA without Space. What are my options?
You could just use blueprints for your ships instead of designing them yourself.
There aren't currently any mods for that as far as I'm aware. However, the commands for teleporting to a new planet are trivial.
To generate the other planet's surfaces, do `/c game.planets["gleba"].create_surface()` for each planet.
Easiest way is to get there is by typing `/editor`. Click on the "Surfaces" tab, then the dropdown will let you switch surfaces. Or run `/c game.player.teleport({0, 0}, "gleba")`
If you want to transfer items between planets automatically, the engine contains 'linked chests' which you can obtain from the editor entity selection too. Or perhaps https://mods.factorio.com/mod/LinkedChestAndPipe will let you place them normally.

You could use a mod that let you start on another planet => https://mods.factorio.com/mod/any-planet-start
I don't think that is a cheat code, rather the opposite, a hard mode.
Don't go too fast !
There is a setting for "asteroid spawning" in the map generation but there is no 0% the lowest it goes is 10% if having too many asteroid in space is a problem/ concern, 0% would deprive the platform from ressources.
Go slower !
I have seen flying main busses, with turret in the front and thrusters at the back and it worked. It doesn't have to be a spaceship, you can make it a factory that produce ammo and fuel if you so hate space so much.
Even slower !
I can't think of other options.

Re: F-SA without Space. What are my options?
Actually making a flying platform is not so hard. I never watched any videos how to make one. Just build one myself, in about a hour, maybe a bit less.
But if you really hate to design it, just use someone's blueprint.
