noob question

how do you throw grenade, capsules that kind of thing? thanks.

grab them, and left click within the range-circle (in the 0.9+ version )
or
put them in your quickbar and press the number key of the slot it's in (prior to 0.9)

As of 10-26-2024 Factorio 2.0 this has been moved to right click. It took some work to find the menu setting because the layman terms of "throw", "toss", "deploy capsule" are, I assume "Use Item"; so in case you want to edit that setting it's there.

The term "Use Item" is good, I speak English but whether or not I read is dependent on how much coffee I've had at a given moment.
