Remember last Factoriopedia page

Post by CC007 »

TL;DR
When you click the Factoriopedia button in the top right, it should go to the last viewed Factoriopedia item.

What ?
It would be nice that if you click the Factoriopedia button in the top right of the screen, you'd be brought back to your previous Factoriopedia browsing session, including selected item and history (for the forward/back buttons).

It would also be nice if the backwards button could navigate back to the previous browsing session, so that you don't lose everything when you Alt-Click another item
Why ?
Right now, when you Alt-Click an item in your inventory, toolbelt, recipes, the world or the tech tree, the Factoriopedia screen opens for that item. You can then navigate to other items in the Factoriopedia and use the nice Forwards/Backwards button.

However, if you get interrupted during your Factoriopedia browsing (You get attacked, you want to look at a certain spot in your base, the map or the tech tree, etc.) and you afterwards try to reopen the Factoriopedia with the button in the top right, your browsing session (the selected item and the page view history) are fully gone. You'd have to either find the item again in your inventory/toolbelt/recipes/world/techtree or in Factoriopedia itself. Also, the back button just closes the Factoriopedia, rather than going to the last-viewed item from the previous session.

Here you can see what you currently see when reopening the Factoriopedia with the button in the top right. As you can see, no item is selected and the back button only closes the Factoriopedia, instead of going back to the previously viewed item.
