[2.0.9] Medium pole doesn't connect

I built a medium pole and it doesn't connect to the big pole next to it, so the inserter doesn't have power.

I would expect it to connect.

Rebuilding it doesn't help.

Btw: when I press "preview", the save upload silently fails.

Thanks for the report. This is working correctly; wires will only auto-connect up to 5 on a given pole. If you want more, you have to do it manually. Otherwise you can remove some of the existing ones for wires to have space for auto connections.

Could there be a message "Too many connections - remove some" or something?

AFAIK this "feature" is hidden to the player.

I thought about it and come up with this message: "No reachable poles with free connections."

Or a message could arise from the entity you think it would connect to "Too many connections"

Am I really the first one having an issue with it?
