TL;DR
Show (red) turret coverage (of already placed turrets) in Remote view even when zoomed in.
(Maybe also show (green) turret coverage of the turret in cursor in Remote view when zoomed out ?)

What ?
In v0.15(?)-v1.1, turret coverage (of already placed turrets) in Map view was shown even when zoomed in.
Why ?
Not being able to see it in 2.0 any more is a serious usability regression when trying to precisely place turrets, especially for Flame Turrets.
Please fix, or provide a similar way in which this kind of precise positioning (depending on other turrets among other things) could be accomplished.

Meanwhile in 1.1.70 :
(ignore the mods, they aren't relevant here)

Also, this issue has shone the light on how the range of a not yet placed turret (in green) would be nice to have too in zoomed-out Remote view.

I don't understand why they did this. Turret range visibility has always been an issue but at least there was a workaround before 2.0. Red is kind of ok but that green over desert is difficult to see even out in the open, never mind areas covered by ore and buildings. Can't imagine how colourblind people must struggle with this.

-when it's toggled on in map view the turret coverage should be visible regardless of zoom level
-it should be visible regardless of toggle button when a turret is held in hand or the mouse cursor is held over a turret
-that overlay should pop a lot more

For better visibility, the currently selected turret's range could be showing as an outline instead of an area, a bit like here :
