Maybe I didn't understand the game correctly, but from my understanding productivity modules reduce the amount of resources needed to craft.
Obviously I put them in a rocket silo, who wouldn't?
I did this with Tier 1 Modules (normal quality) and put in 43 of each component to craft a rocket and with +16% productivity the math worked really well.(43 * 2% progress + 43 * 16% productivity = a shiny new rocket)
After I build my first space station, got myself some Space Science Packs and unlocked productivity tier 2, I made 4 of them and put them into my silo, in the end it simply an upgrade.
If they work like shown in the tool tip: "Productivity +6%" I should only need 38 (0.06 * 4 * 50 = 12) components each to craft a rocket, right?
As it turns out I need 40 and with some math this turns out to be exactly +5% productivty instead of +6%
Maybe it's just me, or am I getting scammed?

Re: [2.0.9] Productivity Modules 2 only giving 5%
Thanks for the report however your understanding is wrong.
Its not that productivity modules reduce amount of resources needed to craft. They increase amount of products given for a given craft.
Under your understanding, a productivity of +100% would mean you do not need to provide ingredients at all which is incorrect. +100% productivity means machine will produce twice as many products for the same amount of ingredients. 4*6% bonus gives you +24% extra, so from 40 sets of ingredients you can expect 40 + (40 * 0.24) = 49.6 products on average, which means it will not be enough to complete all the rockets per 40 ingredients consumed (bonus progress will not finish unless it started at a value above 0.4).

Re: [2.0.9] Productivity Modules 2 only giving 5%
I see, thanks for clarification.
It's interesting because with tier 1 moldules it worked like I mentioned every time I lauched a rocket, like at least 5-10 times in a row.
Maybe that's why I got confused.
EDIT:
Oh I see each cycle is 1.16 progress (kinda) which is 43 * 1.16 = 49,88 but I need 50 to finish the rocket, but the extra production is carrying over to the next step.
So I must have gotten 44 * 1.16 = 51,04 on my very first rocket, but for the next rocket I only need 50 - 1.04 = 48.96 which is less then 49.88 from 43 parts to finish it and my surplus keeps my demand of rocketparts below 44 for multiple rockets in a row.
