Not able to play new game or load any saved game

Thanks for creating the great game

Played a lots using the same PC before 2.x
And facing the issue that the game generate the following error when entering a new world
Even the background movie in the main menu is not loaded (See attachment)

There is no permission nor integrity issue on file system
The game can detects existing mods (including Spage Age) and existing save data in the game UI

This issue is repeatable whenever Space Age is enabled or not.
Tested on 2.0.9 and 2.0.10
Is there any changes on file access method in 2.x?
It is glad if development team can help to identity the issue. Thanks.

Hi,

Are you playing on Steam or website download?
Can you try verify file through Steam,
Or if from the website, doing a full uninstall and reinstall?

My copy is on Steam.

I tried to check the integrity before but it seems there is no discrepancies on the files.
And the game is installed to the default "steamapp" folder resides in the Steam default installation directory.
Also tried with different Windows user account and still got the same error

For some updates....

I have tried to downgrade the version to 1.x and it works as before without any mods.
But the issue persist when the game updated to any version of 2.x

Quite sure there is a change on 2.x about the file access method that cause inaccessible to the mod files which actually on the file system.
Please help to identify & fix the issue since the game is now un-playable. Thanks.
