Two Simple Questions

Post by JayS »

When I update factorio to the next version, does it automatically remove older versions or do I have to do it manually?

Also, in the uninstall programs thing on Microsoft (when you search uninstall in start menu and then click on "Uninstall a program"), it lists my factorio version as 0.10.12 (and it shows no other versions) but when I hover over the icon in my task bar when I'm playing on version 0.11.9. I was wondering why it is like that, just a bit curious.

The update simply overwrites the old version. Removing the "old version" would remove the update too. ;)

Apparently it does not update the uninstall list though.

Hint for devs:
