[2.0.7][macOS 14.5] Error when starting new game

Post by SuaceFace »

Cannot start a new freeplay game with expansion on my macbook. No mods installed. Tried uninstall and reinstall, but same error. The other gamemodes do not work. I tried disabling the expansion but still get the same error in Vanilla. I cannot load my old saves either, getting the same error.

filesystem error: source file "/users/me/library/applicationsupport/factorio/blueprint-storage-2.da" doesn't exist: no such file or directory

Hello, this is fixed in 2.0.8 which is already available as experimental update (will be live for everyone tomorrow). You can opt-into the "experimental" branch in Steam Library -> Factorio properties -> Betas -> Beta participation pick "experimental". Or if you play non-Steam version, check experimental updates in game in Settings -> Other.

Alternativelly, you can delete your old blueprint library - file /users/me/library/applicationsupport/factorio/blueprint-storage.dat
(the same path, except without "-2" suffix)
