2.0 Intersection Compendium

Smart setups of railway stations, intelligent routing, solutions to complex train-routing problems.
Please provide - only if it makes sense of course - a blueprint of your creation.

2.0 Intersection Compendium

Post by TBTerra2 »

As Factorio 2.0 brings with it changes to rail curve radius, and so 1.1 designs will not be compatible with 2.0, now seems as good a time as any to make a new compendium for rail intersections.

The new intersections will be tested with The Auto Tester. this is to eliminate inconsistency with signalling as the tester places all external signals itself.

This is not a place to put designs from new fake rails. its is a place to put designs that have been made in 2.0 so they can have their design and test results recorded.

this is for both intersections that use elevated rails, and also flat intersections that use the new curve radius/extra rotations
Test Info
First post will be for standard length trains, non standard train configurations will be on the second post
Intersections
-- 4-Way --
-- 3-Way --
Mixed number of lane intersections need to go somewhere, but ill work that out when someone submits one (such as a 4 lane mainline crossing a 2 lane minor line)

You can test these designs: viewtopic.php?f=194&t=115929

There are 2x 3-way and 2x 4-way junctions inside.
Coding is awesome!
