[1.1.110] Regular crashes somewhere in rendering loop

Post by Mr.Forgottn »

I'm experiencing regular crashes in the rendering loop. Crash logs usually contain something like this, sometimes it happens during text rendering, but I don't have the crash log to attach.

Code: Select all

C:\Users\build\AppData\Local\Temp\factorio-build-EnIGTZ\src\Graphics\GraphicsInterface.cpp (126): GraphicsInterface::bindBindings
C:\Users\build\AppData\Local\Temp\factorio-build-EnIGTZ\src\Graphics\DX11\GraphicsInterfaceDX11.cpp (2536): GraphicsInterfaceDX11::drawIndexed
C:\Users\build\AppData\Local\Temp\factorio-build-EnIGTZ\src\Graphics\DrawCommandBatch.cpp (255): DrawCommandBatch::flushSpritesBatch
C:\Users\build\AppData\Local\Temp\factorio-build-EnIGTZ\src\Graphics\SetClippingDrawOrder.cpp (18): SetClippingDrawOrder::render
C:\Users\build\AppData\Local\Temp\factorio-build-EnIGTZ\src\Graphics\GuiRenderer.cpp (104): GuiRenderer::render
C:\Users\build\AppData\Local\Temp\factorio-build-EnIGTZ\src\MainLoop.cpp (727): MainLoop::mainLoopStep
C:\Users\build\AppData\Local\Temp\factorio-build-EnIGTZ\src\MainLoop.cpp (423): MainLoop::run
System:
Intel Core i9-13900K on Asus ROG Strix Z790-F, microcode updated to 0x129, but not to 0x12B yet
64GB DDR5
RTX4090 with the latest drivers

dxdiag shows nothing suspicious, sfc and dism report no issues, as well as memtest

Please, note that I didn't experience crashes with 1.1.109 playing standard Factorio. Currently I'm on Krastorio 2, so it might be an issue ofc. I have only Krastorio modpack and a RecipeBook that was installed a bit later, but IIRC crashes started before that

You might investigate the 13th and 14th gen Intel cpu issues and see if it's related: https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments ... h_gen_cpu/
