Blueprint Assmebler Recipes Wiped

I wiped all my mods out except for base game in preparation for vanilla. Then when loading into a new world, all the recipes from my blueprint book were wiped. All the entities are correct, but the assemblers & chem. plants recipes are gone. They're just blank now.
Even more curiously, if I load old saves, the recipes reload themselves. It's only when I try a new world that they wipe out.

Maybe because the recipes are not available yet in the new world? Have you researched them?

Assemblers with unresearched recipes appear as assemblers with a red "forbidden" icon painted across them. It gets unlocked as soon as the corresponding recipe is unlocked.

However, if the assemblers themselves just vanished and there is blank space instead of a machine, it may be some mod created their own assembler items with their own custom internal name. Then you blueprinted these modded machines, and now without the mod all references to unknown internal names are unknown and the corresponding items are removed. As long as you don't actually update such a blueprint the items are still there, but only visible if you again include the mod that added it.

It's not that the recipes are there with the red cancel mark; the recipes are wiped clean. It's just blank assemblers. No gears & red science assemblers, just blank assemblers.

Removing mods does nothing to blueprints, only saving them without mods does. So if you can reproduce this without saving, post a small save file to sync the mod and also contains the needed blueprint that will change once the mod is removed.

Nevermind. It doesn't show assembler recipes in blueprints if alt-mode is turned off. I had no idea, I always play with it on. That's why I only saw on new files
