Hmmm
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44436 also crashes in _mesa_ReadPixels, but it's a dupe of the next one
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37871 This one was introduced in 2011 and fixed one month ago
The later one mentions memory fragmentation playing a big role, which appears to mirror my observation

Those libraries are not willing to cross-compile and produce 32-bit codeMF- wrote:Hmmm

So I can't even test the patch, unless factorio goes 64bit. *hint* *hint*
Re: [Crash] [Linux] Alpha 0.2.7/8 dies with SIGBUS, demos wo
In 0.5 I have been getting the SIGBUS on quitting, not on loading so far (2 start attempts -> insufficient data set size)
Unfortunately the on-quit SIGBUS prevents the game from saving the configuration.

Re: [Crash] [Linux] Alpha 0.2.7/8 dies with SIGBUS, demos wo
So far, there were no crashes on loading. They all happened (at the same rate) at quitting.
Fortunately there was one non-crashing quit, so I am not bothered by the updater anymore.
Thanks for the moving the issue somewhere, where it does not matter that much. I can finally play when I choose so.

Re: [Crash] [Linux] Alpha 0.2.7/8 dies with SIGBUS, demos wo
So far I got it 100%-crashfree on startup.
The SIGBUS happens at the shutdown, where it doesn't matter that much.

I think this bug is in the 1 / 0 magic for a good reason
