Crash On Startup (Yosemite)

When I launch the game, the game crashes.

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1

You need to upgrade to version 0.11. https://www.factorio.com/download/experimental

DaveMcW is right, 0.10.12 doesn't work on yosemite. Download the 0.11.6 version and it should work ok. Sorry for the annoyance. I'm moving this to duplicates, since there were already many reports of this problem.

I just want to try the demo. Already bought the game for my son but it's on his PC. I'm on a Mac.

Sorry, no demo is available for Yosemite yet.
