[1.1.80 (build 60618, win64)] pc crash on alt tab

Sometimes when i alt tab back into the game by clicking back into the screen (i have a dual monitor setup) my pc crashes. This only happens with factorio and its pretty frequent and unhealthy for my pc, it doesnt always happen when i click back into the game.

no other game does this for my pc and i play more intensive games than factorio so i doubt it

It’s not a matter of opinion; sorry. If your pc is crashing there is something wrong with the hardware or drivers. User space processes are not capable of crashing a correctly functioning computer.

Since you say it is crashing that means one or more drivers is bad or one or more pieces of hardware has gone bad. You need to figure out which in order to fix it.
