Save file exact versions of mods

Hi,

I have updated my mods and now cannot load my saved game. I believe I have been playing with technically incompatible versions of mods. I accept that. Upon updating, the updates have caused a problem. This is not a problem in and of itself right now. What I am trying to do is to get back to the exact set of mods including their exact versions that I was playing. This would allow me to load my saved game.

Does the saved game data contain the exact versions of the mods that were in use? I know they contain the list of mods that were in use as the game brings up the' sync' wizard if they are not 'correct'. I have an inclination it also understands the versions too, but it does not show them. All I want to see is the versions that the save game was using or the versions of the mods that are not correct that trigger the 'sync' wizard.

I have tried to dig through the same game files, using grep and strings, but I am not really getting anywhere.

You can see the exact versions in Load game dialog. I don't if is possible to extract as text file or whatever.

However, sync mods does not sync to the exact versions, but to the latest, iirc.

Exact versions can be downloaded via modportal, but it's a bit of a hassle.

Doh - I must have looked everywhere except the load save game screen - I am so used to clicking "Continue".
