Map under extreme lag / unplayable.

Hi there,
So I have I haven't played Factorio in maybe a year or more, and I have this factory where I spent alot of hours building it.
When I last played everything was fine, no issues at all. Now after I came back, I'm facing this huge amount of lag and very low fps, so I'm guessing it's not compatible anymore with the newer game versions?
I'm kinda done with this save and wanted to make another factory, one capable of reaching mega-factory sizes, so not a huge loss but this has me worried if it will lag the same when it reaches this size and amount of stuff around the map.

Just give it a minute to settle down once loaded and it returns to a smooth 60 UPS. A migration woke up every enemy on the map and they're taking a minute to go back to sleep.

Ahh, just like you said, it fixed itself.

How did you find out this is the issue? I think I had a similar case where it would be super slow until *something* finished, and I'm curious as to what happened.

I opened the show-time-usage and show-entity-time-usage debug options under F4.
