I selected metachemoinformatics to improve productivity of my research centers. The trick is I only get the bonus effect on certain recipes. I get the bonus for pyscience but I don't get it for red, blue, or green science. Tried reconstructing the research center and as soon as I select these recipes the bonus goes away. The funny thing is if I choose the chemical science (green) recipe that uses paragen I do get the bonus.
This issue also reflects to into YAFC so it looks intentional.

Yeah, this issue has been reported before :
