Factorio not utilizing GPU

So I've got a dumb one... I've been traveling a lot for work and my work laptop is a HP Zbook Fury 16 G9, has an I7 32gb of ram and an A3000 Nvidia GPU... When I launch the game I can't force it to use the GPU. I tried launching it with --force-openGL and got an error saying that my version of openGL is out of date... And when I used --d3d-Adapter Id via CLI it acknowledges the GPU exists but then it proceeds to use the CPU for everything. I've set it to use the A3000 in both the nvidia control panel and inside windows settings... Set to high priority in task manager... and in this windows install the integrated graphics drivers are disabled. DXDiag doesn't show the GPU however but other games are able to use the GPU...
