Can't download or install mods: operation too slow

hi, I've tried everything I could think of but I can't install large mods as it comes up with CURL failed: code:28, 1c; Operation too slow. Less than 1 bytes/sec transferred the last 20 seconds about 20% into the download. I can still download small mods though.

I've checked proxy settings, relogged into my account ingame and uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing changes.

Any help will be appreciated

Are you able to download these mods from https://mods.factorio.com

Yeah I can download mods from there and everything works fine. The in-game mod portal also doesn't let me download large updates.

Which mods trigger these errors for you? Could you email me (support@factorio.com) a wireshark trace of your network traffic when this error happens? https://www.wireshark.org/
