[1.1.69] Crash on start in lua

Game crashes during loading screen at the start of the game, always at 3% (loading mods... core) Tried all of the game launch configs in the steam. The latest versions of the videocard drivers and system updates are installed.

Try verifying the game through steam.

Steam says, that all of the files have successfully tested, rebooting system also didn't help.

What mods do you have in your mods folder if any?

No mods. I don't even have a mod folder because game has never started

Crashing in a library makes no sense to me, you can check if the non-steam version works.

I installed demo version from the official factorio site and it crashes with the same error message.
