Well, you could also make changes to the other mods' settings in `settings-final-fixes.lua`. You can change default values, or force them to only accept your preferred values.

No, I don't want to force my options, just give a possibility to use them.

I've learnt to hate that kind of stuff during the "balancing of my most complicated favourite game, From the Depths.

You could put the forced settings in a separate mod. Changing the defaults still lets the user change them (but doesn't change the setting if the player already had the mod installed before installing the modpack).

Do you know an existing compatibility mod from where I can drain off knowledge to make a new one?
2 kinds of oxygen, hydrogen,lithium, sand goes against my way of chaos. :(
