- What did you do?
- I tried to run
- What happened?
- the model have a weird behaviour when I keep a movement key pressed (Z,Q,S,D) for running. It's like it is stopping for a few milliseconds between movements. The movement can be seen in attached GIF . The movement really affects the game (not just cosmetic) : the model's pace is different than usual.
- What did you expect to happen instead?
- I expected to run as usual, in a smooth motion
I attached a GIF of the running model in all four directions + the log of the sessions . I ran the test after the last autosave and before the manual save.
I didn't play for a few months while keeping the game on auto-update in Steam.
I tried on 1.1.50 (installed on Steam) as well as 1.1.49. I have this issue in the two versions.
[1.1.49] Weird behavior when model is running
Re: [1.1.49] Weird behavior when model is running
Why ZQSD? What have you bound to Z and Q?
Re: [1.1.49] Weird behavior when model is running
I think watysay is using the French keyboard layout.
Re: [1.1.49] Weird behavior when model is running
I'd run a keyboard test.
Re: [1.1.49] Weird behavior when model is running
Yes I'm using French keyboard layout, my bad I should have mentioned it. ZQSD are standard movement key.
Re: [1.1.49] Weird behavior when model is running
OK my bad I found out that my keyboard is working in a unusual way.
When I keep pressed on key, it behaves like I'm repeating the press over and over. Only the last key pressed have this behavior.
Once I press another key, the previous one behave properly, e.g. like I'm keeping it pressed.
I'm sorry to have waisted your time, keep up the good work !
