[1.1.41] Mod changelog list is reversed

The in-game mod changelog for any mod is always displayed oldest change to newest. Why is it not newest to oldest? Not a bug per se, but definitely a problem! Can this be fixed?

It's in the order mod provides its changelog

I'm afraid not, according to these screenshots I've attached the order is newest to oldest on the mod portal and in the local changelog.txt file in the mod zip folder. Only in-game is the list of changelogs reversed.

It is very unusual to have changelogs go from oldest to newest, so personally I'd prefer that the in-game changelog switches direction for both base game and mods.
Almost all mods on the mod portal do it newest to oldest (which is overridden in-game as noted above).

Would it be possible to have a user setting that could change this? For me, when I play, I am usually only looking for "what changed between the version of a mod I'm currently using and the newest version." For some mods, whose authors rarely release new major/minor versions, this is quite a ways down from the top of the screen.

I understand the logic behind having updates oldest first, but IMO it would be a good "quality of life" feature to allow individual players to reverse this order if they wish. Having the default unchanged would be fine.
