First, I apologize for not taking a screen shot so I could keep my facts straight and accurate.
I have lost my mouse pointer in Factorio and can't seem to get it back. It works fine in all other apps except Factorio.
I was playing along, clearing land of biters with a Smart Artillery Bombardment Remote, and directing enough firepower to bog down my computer. Something went wrong and I got an error message dialog stating that my video card or driver had crashed, and that I might try changing to another form of rendering. I think it was Flip presentation that was offered with a link and everything. I clicked the link, restarted Factorio, and the mouse pointer disappeared. I can still pick up tools, highlight items and click on menu choices if I wave the mouse at them, but no pointer to tell me where I am.
I have updated my video driver, turned off Flip presentation mode, rebooted, and tried a few other things I can't remember. No improvement, maybe worse but not by much.
Anyone have an insight the might help?
Brad

Only offer I know of is to switch to OpenGL instead of DirectX. You might want to check if the Force OpenGL option is on - either by checking the config, or holding Alt+Shift when clicking Settings, then clicking 'The rest' to access hidden settings.

SUCCESS!
Thank you, Silari. I wouldn't have known where to look or what to look for without your help.
It turns out that OpenGL was enabled. I turned it off and wah-lah, mouse pointer.
