Can't do any rounder than 1 pixel / tick ! (In "normal" resolution.)
Which translates to 7.5 items / second / yellow belt lane.
So 1/s isn't Factorio-round... (Can't have 7.5 lanes !)
Neither is 1k/min = 16.67../s
Nor is 300 spm = 5/s
(Why not 7.5/2/s = 3.75/s = 225/min ? IIRC this is the speed of Bob's basic "grey" belt lanes ?)
(Is that 22/min actually a 22.5/min ?)
In vanilla / vanilla-ish mods I tend to target base sizes in terms of yellow belt lanes of iron ore.
But in pY, you can't hope to realistically model the whole base past red science in Helmod, and since buildings can get so expensive, I instead tend to target specific chains in terms of required number of buildings, specifically those that are the most expensive (modules, including animals ?) and/or used the less in a chain.

I've been targeting 22/min in my current build and that's still burning through tech faster than I can implement it. I'm almost out of red/green tech to research and I'm still setting up farms for materials to feed the next couple of sciences. My guess is near the holidays or next year. Does anyone here know how much a PITA is making a mod to achieve the level of py's mods is? I actually attempt to do so and icon graphics alone takes hours of work to make it potable, let alone on the level py makes. Buildings takes days and coding is sometimes a hassle because of working with the API. Glad we have a way to make factorio-voodoo but it requires sometimes cleaver thinking. I will be glad once its released knowing how much works is in progress. I bet neither py or king is lazying around because modding factorio the way they did is short of making a simple game from scratch.

Thank you,. Yes, making a mod isnt easy and me and king are working on our free-time. Its a very time consuming. We have plans to release this year

Yay, congratulations, pY 2.0 looks to be quite the overhaul, including of the previous mods, not just the new features of pY Alternative Energy !
(Sadly, I'm still on pY Alien Life «1.0», and not going to stop that game now, ~600 hours in, with yellow science coming soon(tm)...)
