I left the game paused for about an hour with the screen locked, and came back to discover Factorio had crashed.
In further debugging, I discovered that the crash occurs regardless to whether a world is loaded or not, and this crash is reproducible at the main menu.
I play on Windows, Windows 10 version 20H2 (build 19042.928).
Steps to reproduce:
1. launch factorio
2. allow factorio to fully load into the main menu
3. lock workstation.
4. unlock workstation.
5. observe crash.
Expected behavior:
Factorio not to crash when locking/unlocking PC.
Actual behavior:
Factorio crashed the moment the PC was unlocked.
Reproducibility: always.
Note: this crash occurs with no mods loaded as well as in modded games.
"factorio-previous.log" is the initial crash observed in my modded game,
"factorio-current.log" is the reproduced crash in a vanilla configuration.

Thanks for the report. It looks like it crashed inside the Razer Chroma logic (for your keyboard/mouse/headset or what ever devices you have from them). Can you try updating the Razer software and see if that helps?

Updating all programs from Razer didn't fix the problem

Does it still crash if you go into the settings and disable the razer chroma integration?

Unable to reproduce crash with Chroma integration disabled.
Razer likes to update itself on system startup, and i can verify my razer software is current.
Razer Central 7.3.32.173
Razer Synapse version 3.6.430.42101

This sounds like something that Razer may need to look into. Since it's not our code crashing and we haven't changed anything around that logic.
Have you tried contacting them about the issue?

I have attempted to leave a bug report with Razer, though their support portal is super opaque so I don't know if i will receive a response.
For now i have disabled chroma integration as a workaround.
