Toggling the personal roboport off will cause the robots to return to the player right NOW.

What ?

I often am building stuff and then robots will not return to me because of a cliff that needs removing but me having no cliff explosives on me. I can then wait until the robots run out of power for them to return, of I can mine them (which usually causes the ghost of the item the bot is trying to place to get deleted as well).

So why not: when you toggle the personal roboport off all the construction bots return to the player right away.

Why ?

I don't like to wait half an hour for my bots to catch up / run out of power. When I am waiting I am not playing the game, which is boring. I want to play the game.

That is indeed an annoyance and this could fix most parts of it.

You can abandon your robots by taking out the roboports off of armor.
Is there a better way to do that, without losing charge of roboports?
