Version 1.1.30
Bugfixes
Re: Version 1.1.30
Three releases in a day. A new record?
Re: Version 1.1.30
If this is the changelog for .29, what's the one for .30?
Re: Version 1.1.30
You know at least that 1.1.29 didn't add any bugs.
Re: Version 1.1.30
Version 1.1.31. Fixed bug when version number is 29.Nexarius wrote:You know at least that 1.1.29 didn't add any bugs.

Re: Version 1.1.30
I think this is literally the biggest mistake the Factorio devs have ever made. And it's really tiny, too!
Proof that the devs are human.

Re: Version 1.1.30
They've made bigger. Just off hand, there was an update that broke rail signals so loading up that version had trains crashing into each other.DoubleThought wrote: βThu Mar 25, 2021 3:46 am I think this is literally the biggest mistake the Factorio devs have ever made. And it's really tiny, too!

Re: Version 1.1.30
I remember reading on Reddit or somewhere how some guy's few years old kid got traumatized after watching him play and all the trains crashing into each other.
Don't think many devs can brag about scaring children with bad code )
Re: Version 1.1.30
I play the steam version of Factorio and steam still thinks the most recent version of the game is 1.1.27 from March 11.
I have restarted steam and used the verify local game files several times. Is there something wrong on steam's end or am i going to have to try to reinstall the game completely?
EDIT - Solved my problem...somehow steam took me off experimental branch from beta menu. I did notice that the 1.1.x selection in the beta menu does say that it is version 1.1.27 even though when you select it, it does update to 1.1.30

Re: Version 1.1.30
Right now: 1.1.27 is stable and 1.1.30 is experimental.Selak wrote: βThu Mar 25, 2021 12:00 pm I play the steam version of Factorio and steam still thinks the most recent version of the game is 1.1.27 from March 11.

You need to opt in for experimental release. But be aware. the risk that something's get broken is slightly higher and rollback to an older version is not the best idea
Re: Version 1.1.30
I think this happens automatically when the stable bookmark is upgraded to the same version as the experimental. For example, if 1.1.30 becomes the new stable, your beta branch might reset to "none" and you may have to opt-in manually again to 1.1.31.

Re: Version 1.1.30
Actually, while not all moldy input is pizza input, some pizza input may also be moldy input. I seriously doubt that any developer would transubstantiate it into code, though, unless that developer was a dog. Even then, there's only a very minute chance that moldy input would make for good code. In Germany, it would produce "Kot" at best, although I'm not sure of it's quality; on the other hand, there are also lots of shitty code around, a good part of which I've contributed myself -- albeit without moldy input.ptx0 wrote: βSat Mar 27, 2021 2:32 amoh god i read that as moldy at firsteradicator wrote: βSat Mar 27, 2021 12:45 am

A good mod deserves a good changelog. Here's a tutorial (WIP) about Factorio's way too strict changelog syntax!
