The first time I had this crash, I checked for driver updates using the software provided by hardware manufacturer's: Asus EZ Update and Armoury Crate. "No updates needed", they said.
When it happened a second time not long after, I put my faith in Wube and went to the linked website. Sure enough, there were both new chipset drivers and a BIOS update available, neither of which were reported by the manufacturer's software.
This might be more of a knock on Asus, but kudos to the devs for a game so well polished (and an extra-thorough crash message!) it did a better job telling me I needed updates than the software installed for that express purpose.
