Hello there.
So i started noticing that my keyboard doesnt change color anymore when i started factorio with the current Version of Factorio.
Some details: Steam Branch, Stabel, not experimental version, Logtech G 915, GHUB Version: 2020.12.9532
So i started the search for answers and came across this old thread in this forum: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=89970&p=514491&hil ... ch#p514491
OK i said, seems i have to wait for an update from Logitech.
Now some time later i wated to load an old map and had to download the 0.18 Version of Factorio from here: https://factorio.com/download/archive
I used the .zip version for Windows
Now when i started the 0.18 version of the game, loo and behold, the RGB worked again. I didnt change any settings in GHUB or windows.
The other thread mentioned it worked for the devs. Do the also run the Steam branch or the "standalone" branch of the game and is it mybe related to that.

We almost always test with the non-steam version. But there's nothing different from the RGB side over the steam version.
You can try downloading the non-steam version yourself to test.
But as far as we've ever tested the logitech stuff works without issue in 1.1.

OK so i tested a bit more
I downloaded the current stable version as .zip
With the non steam version it worked again. No problems with the LEDs
Now i deleted all config from the steam version under \Roaming\Factorio\ and let steam validate the game stuff.
No problems so far but again it didnt work with the steam version.
And yes i double checked if LG support is activated
And a video for you guys to help . First started is the .zip version, second is steam

So i am really wondering if it is a problem with the steam version itself, because steam interfers with the API or if it´s a branch version problem related to factorio.
But again this i cannot pinpoint on my own as i dont have the expertise to determin the real problem.
All i can do is provide clues and help to find the problem and hope it gets solved somehow ^^

And I had a problem with the backlight on the wireless keyboard due to a poor-quality bluetooth antenna. This became clear after the antenna was recovered and I bought a new Ubit AX200 antenna. Then the synchronization was already stable and the backlight was not dull. Before this incident, I did not know that you can buy an antenna separately, but while I was looking for a solution, I came across this review https://homemakerguide.com/best-bluetoo ... pc-gaming/.

I don't know what would cause it to work with one version over another since when we test internally it works just fine with the steam version and the standalone version. The RGB logic in the code doesn't care if you're running steam vs not; it executes all the same.
So.. I have no idea on this. That code is identical between the zip version and the steam version.
