Couldn't establish network communication - 0.11.1

Me and my friend have been playing, but we took a 2-week (ish) break to do stuff at school. trying to come back now, i get ^^^^ that notice. not a single thing has changed since then. does anyone have a fix yet, i've been searching for awhile now, but everyone either seems to be ignoring it, or not helping those that need it.

first upgrade to 0.11.3 and look if the bug is still there
