Tried to load my 1.0.0 savegame in 1.1.9
What happened?
Game crashed while loading savegame
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
Savegame loads like in <1.1.9 (up to 1.1.8 it worked without any problem)

Yup, happens here, too. OpenSuse Tumbleweed (openSUSE 20210111), starting a new game or loading an existing one crashes the game.

Most crashes seem to come from blueprint library.
Can someone post their blueprint-storage.dat if they are crashing?

Same problem after 1.1.9 update. not only savefiles but newGame same result / crush
