Hi
What about an app that you design stuff on.
Like say a station. Once you have finished you sync with the game and use a blueprint to get it in game.
Thanks

Blueprint App
Hello everyone,
I did not find the idea on the forums, so i decided to register and post it.
I am playing a lot of Factorio and what kind of fascinates me the most ist to improve my blueprints, simplify and even put the whole gameplay into blueprints, make stuff modular, extendable and easy to handle.
However, i tend to work on blueprints and being not 100% happy about it. After a while i get an idea but can't log in to factorio due to work, travel,...
In these situations, I would LOVE to open my Factorio Blueprint App, put some inserters, assemblers and belts down, check if my idea works out, and store and export my new blueprint.
I have no idea how time consuming it would be to code such an app, but it would really improve my game.
The app would need:
-all the machines, inserters, etc
-some limitation to the size of the blueprint due to device screen size. Or maybe a default size that can be extended in case it is needed.
-setting of recipes for assemblers, maybe even combinators?
-export blueprint string mode, via email, whatsapp, message, so that we can copy the code into our game. (direct uplink to ones blueprint library would be great, but is possibly way more complicated)
-screenshot mode to share and discuss on the forums
i don't know if anyone else desires this as much as I do, please comment and/or suggest additions i may not have mentionend.
Thanks for reading!

Re: Blueprint App
+1 would be great to make and edit blue prints without lanuching the entire game
It will take some time to decide what my signature will be...

Blueprint app for Android/Apple
Allows for creation and editting of blueprints through the use of blueprint strings. Allows for the setup of assembly machines and the like, as far as output and modules. Number crunches total required input and total output.

Original post from 2016, now 2024 still an excellent idea. 10/10 would buy. Thanks to the devs for everything they’ve done since 2016!
