Suggestion: Global mute toggle button + hotkey

Hello all;

It occurred to me having the ability to globally toggle-mute all sounds and music from the game (and being able to assign that ability to a hotkey (eg. ctrl-g)) would be a "nice to have" feature. Additionally, perhaps a separate 'music' toggle-mute ability/hotkey (eg. ctrl-m) wouldn't be terrible either.

I use the 'Esc' key for that, mutes the game just fine.

Esc also stops the game. I would assume OP wants to play muted?

it's commonly thought by the devs (as i understand, anyway) that Factorio already has "too many" key shortcuts, and more are unlikely to be implemented, especially when it's possible for mods to add the same functionality.

it might be a mod interface request to alter local volume, but i'm not sure that'll be multiplayer-safe?
