I was playing a new freeplay game and periodically going through the Tips & Tricks and their tutorials. I did the "Stack transfers" tutorial when it was the only unlocked tip left to be read. When I finished the tutorial, it showed a green checkmark in the list of tips and no longer showed the "mark as read" button, but it was still showing in the lower left list of New Tips with no apparent way to dismiss it.
I saved and exited the freeplay game, reloaded it and the New tips list finally went away.
No idea if this is specific to "Stack transfers", or tutorials, or if a tutorial is the only remaining new tip.
