I am encountering a crash by just hovering the cursor over a remote connected to a spidertron. The game also crashes when I try to open spidertrons inventory. I am running the latest version of the game on windows 10. I am playing with mostly QOL life mods enabled, but even after disabling all mods the crash still persists. Here is the list of mods I am using:
- Blueprint Flip and Turn
- Cleaned Concrete
- Disco Science
- Even Distribution
- Factorio Library
- Factory Planner
- FNEI
- Honk
- NiceFill
- Power Grid Comb
- Remove Military Tech
- Romulinho's Research Queue Always True
- VehicleSnap
- Waterfill
Other mods that I probably had enabled at one point throughtout the save:
- Bullet Trails
- Blueprint Extensions
- Creative Mod (only for BP designs)
- Quickbar Templates

Okay, after a little bit of testing, it seems the mod 'Remove Military Tech' is the culprit. I started up a new game with this mod enabled and just used '/cheat' to place down a spidertron and a remote. The game crashes after deselecting the remote and selecting it again. Starting a new game without 'Remove Military Tech' and using '/cheat' to get a spidertron and remote does not crash the game.
Luckily, I had an auto save I could go back to before I crafted the spidertron. It seems obtaining a spidertron and remote with the mod enabled does something bad to the game. On the auto save I disabled Remove Military Tech, crafted spidertron and it works fine. Enabling the mod again will cause the game to crash when you select the remote.

Thanks for the report. This is a duplicate of the many spidertron related reports we've had. It's fixed for 1.1.
