How to get into sandbox mode for mall building?

Hi,
I want to do a mall for Space Exploration.
how to get into that creative sandbox mode, where special underground belts put out recources?

Does
Singleplayer → New Game → Sandbox
not work for you?

I do believe infinity underground belts are a mod thing, but similar things exist in vanilla too.

Type /editor in the chat twice to forcibly enter editor mode.
