Neither does the search find them.

This technology has 3 tiers. In the attached image second tier is visible on the list of technologies.

"Electric energy distribution" has two tiers.
Both are shown in the picture.
You can't use search for "Speed module" to find recipe for Speed module. You can only find Speed module 2 and Speed module 3 and then click from those to on the tree.

What exactly is the issue?
Do you want to see the recipe of a tech that you have researched already? Check your crafting menu!
Do you want to see all the levels of all technologies in the list? That's a lot of clutter that I would not want to have.

If I have speed module 1 and 2 researched, then speed module 1 is not in the list anymore. only 2 and 3
That's probably a feature for tiered technologies, that already researched techs of the previous tier is not in the list anymore to keep the overview smaller
Same happens, for example, for physical projectile damage.
