Blueprint's Don't place Station

Post by S_gamez »

  • What did you do
Places BP with LTN station in/on
  • What happened
The station don't appear by using my BP (String follows). Cant' be placed by BOTS or Nano bot: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Nanobots
Image on how it looks when placed:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... nknown.png
  • What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
The station appears when i placed the BP. making the bot's able to build it.
  • Write down the steps to reproduce the bug if you know them.
Create the BP u want it has to contain the LTN Station.
Note: As u make the BP u will see that the station is there, but when placed the station is not place able by other than u
  • Does it happen always, once, or sometimes
Always after an update in 0.17.xx ?

Sounds like Nanobots uses an odd way of placing entities.

Experiencing the same but with copy and paste function in 1.0.
No Nanobots involved.

Only the combinator and lamp is visible as ghost.

I posted the issue for the blueprint part. Not what I used to place it down with. Still to be sure I tested the regular bots, and Nano bots too just to be sure that it was not the bots fault :). but still the station will not be remembered in the BP I made. So I really hope there's a fix for this :D

Now later I also figured out. That it don't even remember the name data it got when I made it. Also just saying it was placed by hand, On top of the few items of the station that was there.

Steps to reproduce required.
Blueprints work fine for me in normal game and editor.

That I described in top post. If that is not enough, then I have no clue other than. Giving u the game I use. Though I leave the BP with issue in-game BPs.

Mod folder can be deeply needed as of custom configured mods used in save, also some not being uploaded to the forum.

Unzip mod folder before use.

Save are uploaded here

Again, I can place your blueprint perfectly fine with only LTN enabled.

I'm not downloading 1GB of mods to test something I know works in base. Narrow it down to mods essential to reproduce the bug.
My guess would be some mod changes layers making the stop entity conflict with floor tiles.

layers mean(s) ? Something like the new nuke explosion's ? Or something else that mod that adds tiles, generate them. I don't get what mod am looking for ?

Issue found on the https://mods.factorio.com/mod/dont-build-on-ores mod.
The mod changes layers making the stop entity conflict. so conflict found.

Then when is a fixing coming and from witch side ?

Issue i posted on mods page:https://mods.factorio.com/mod/dont-buil ... f24fe66d70

Looks like my guess was spot on.
Added a way to fix the incompatibility to https://mods.factorio.com/mod/dont-buil ... f24fe66d70
