Hello, I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find it elsewhere.
In Factorio versions prior to 1.0 (which is awesome), the "locomotive" panel had three buttons in the upper-right hand: one of these three buttons allowed to open the map, and the camera panning would follow the locomotive. In Factorio 1.0, only one of these three buttons remain. Please see the attached picture to better understand what I am talking about.
I'm sorry that this feature has been removed, because it was extremely helpful to acknowledge the status of the train at a glance, particularly its position on the global map without having to manually hunt for it, and checking its contents. Now it is necessary to open the map and wander on it until the locomotive is found. It would be great if you could please bring that feature back.

They are still there, however due to GUI scale they were pushed out of frame by the text above the minimap.

So, if I want to see the buttons, do I need to reduce the UI scale in the game's settings? Is there a way to remove or reduce the text without having to lower the UI scaling? Or maybe using a keyboard shortcut?

Excellent, thank you very much!
I've just found that setting a custom value of "1.4" in the config.ini file yields the best compromise between readability of the GUI and having the third button visibile in the "locomotive" panel.

Train stop map button
People can ping train stops in chat, but when you click on it, you can only see its name and trains. Please add a button to the train stop GUI to open the map at its location, as you have done for trains.

Primarily a vanilla player. Enjoy extreme rail world death worlds with biter expansion and a 10x+ tech price. Do not feel much fun after the tech tree is fully researched.

It seems this feature needs a lot more work, so that it could be seen by everybody. And what a stupid idea to put the most interesting buttons on top of the window as very small icons. Nothing learned from modern UX.
