[1.0.0] Crash on startup: Failed to create a texture

I've rebooted once, reinstalled twice, wiped appdata, and had steam verify the files multiple times and now I'm out of ideas. It's alternating between "failed to create a texture" and the classic "an error has occured". The only time I've gotten past the main load-in it gave me the mod compatibility error screen and I opted to disable all, but nothing changed. This has only been an issue after 1.0.
