Hello guys,
I have an issue with Factorio.
I didn't touch my GPU when I play.
My spec:
CPU : Intel Core I7-9700K
GPU : RTX 2070
MB : ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING
RAM : Corsair 2*8GB 3200Mhz
What should I do?
[1.0.0] Crash with my GPU: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
[1.0.0] Crash with my GPU: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

Re: [1.0.0] Crash with my GPU
See: 65323. If you have overclocked your gpu, going back to stock might avoid that issue.
Re: [1.0.0] Crash with my GPU: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
Hello, for some people who experience this crash it helps to disable "Use flip presentation model" in graphics settings (needs restart).
It may also help to switch to OpenGL renderer - to do that, start the game to main menu, hold Ctrl + Alt and click on Settings, then go to "The rest", search (Ctrl + F works) for force-opengl and enable it, then restart the game.

Re: [1.0.0] Crash with my GPU: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
Sorry for necro'ing this topic, but I wanted to let you know I ran into this issue with new//modern hardware (nvidia RTX 3080) --- unchecking "Use flip presentation model" seems to have completely fixed the issue.
With regard to it being my hardware: while I'm open to that being a possibility, it's also true that Factorio is the only game I've played that has consistently crashed within minutes of starting up. (So at the very least there's something about the way this feature is implemented in this game that is different from other games I've played since getting the system a month ago.)

I'm adding a necropost to this thread too : exactly the same thing, (same hardware, same symptoms, same solution, same effects, ..., So same conclusion too).MothFox wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 3:03 pm Sorry for necro'ing this topic, but I wanted to let you know I ran into this issue with new//modern hardware (nvidia RTX 3080) --- unchecking "Use flip presentation model" seems to have completely fixed the issue.
