In a new game I started I noticed less than 3 hours in that there are big and medium worms already. I never saw big worms so early in any of my previous games and therefore thought they were tied to the evolution factor, but apparently that is no longer the case.
While I managed to pick off the spawner to the right it's absolutely impossible to get the left one or pick up the artifacts, and it will probably stay that way until I manage to get a bunch of laser turrets. Since it's so close by I'm sure it will get on my nerves pretty soon.
