steps to recreate

1) in a new world enable showing the blueprint book in the icon area next to the quick-select bars
2) click the blueprint book button

3) watch: you will get the graphic of a new blueprint book in your cursor
4) watch: very quickly (i think a single frame latter) the game will crash

Confirmed on Windows. Game crashes when I drag new blueprint book outside of quickbar.
I can create new book and put it into quickbar and it is placed in inventory. Moving this new book out of inventory window also crashes the game.

Old (non-empty) books do not crash the game.

Can confirm, this issue occurs for me too, as soon as the cursor leaves the hotbar with a new blueprint book the game crashes.

Can reproduce as well (Windows 10 2004 19041.423), attached log and memory dump.

Same on OSX. It happens as well when using the shortcut (Command+B).

Importing a blueprint book from an import string works, so if you happen to have another blueprint. So for convenience, here's a string for an almost empty blueprint book:

Another workaround is to drag the blueprint UI so that it clips over the toolbar UI. As long as the cursor doesn't cross into the "game field" you should be OK.

Same here on win10. (log attached)

Small "fix" for people who really want to play today: open your blueprint library first then use your shortcut to create a new blueprint book while your cursor is inside the Library window. (Check your controls to see/set a new shortcut for that).
