Things that we don't consider worth fixing at this moment.

[kovarex] [0.18.17] Renaming Blueprints in folder does not reorder alphabetically

Post by Tealc. »

In an open Blueprint folder when trying to rename an already saved Blueprint the Blueprint will not reorder alphabetically.

Tried going out of folder and back in but was not resolved.

Only way I could get the Blueprints in the folder to reorder was to take the Blueprint in question (the one that wasn't rearranging alphabetically on it's own) and move it out of the folder in to the main Blueprint library and then finally move it back in to the folder in which it had came from and then it was in the correct alphabetical order.

Won't fix due to ongoing blueprint library rework. New blueprint library will not have any automatic reordering.

Little late to respond to this but after using the new library for about a week now have some feedback to add to this.

Being able to manually place BPs in to any order we desire is great and certainly takes care of the original bug report about alphabetically reordering. But...

It is damn tedious moving all, possibly many many BPs by one space in the whole book just to make space for a new and inserted BP where it is desired.

Having an additional "sort" or cleanup button would be good for times when you don't want the headache of manually sorting a whole book but simply want all the empty space removed and having the BPs collapsed back to back.

Both options have their uses and merits but having one without the other makes for tedious sorting.
